Custom front license plates should be installed on a license plate holder usually included
with your vehicle. Take your frame kit and peel the blue cover
sheets off of your protective shield and place over your custom front license plate and then the frame on top
of that and screw the bolts into you license plate holder.
Some license plate holders require two screws to secure the license plate and some require
four, a different type of screw may be required for your license plate holder, the auto part store will have
those.
If your vehicle does not have the front license plate
holder already installed, check in your trunk or where your spare tire is located and you can sometimes find it
there.
If it has been removed, you will have to either see if the
dealer has one or get a universal license plate holder. Look closely on your front bumper and
find two small dimples; this is where the front license plate holder should be located.
You can usually use self tapping screws and screw into the plastic, if not use a drill. Once
the front license plate holder is in place, put the clear license plate protective cover and frame on the
custom front license plate and install with bolts.
When complete check to be sure all screws are tight and secure as not to come off and become a
road hazard.
